Directions to Bryn Brooke Manor

From the Southeast: From I-87 North, take Thruway Exit 21 at Catskill, then State Highway 23 west, to State Highway 145 north, to U.S. Highway 20 west, and State Highway 80 south to Cooperstown. Route 80 follows the length of Otsego Lake and is a beautiful drive. You stay on it for about ten miles. Westridge Road is the first street past the green "Village of Cooperstown" sign. Turn right up Westridge and bear to the LEFT where the road forks. The left fork is our driveway.

OR: From I-87 take Thruway Exit 21, to State Highway 23 west, then I-88 east. Take Exit 17, turning onto State Highway 28, north to Cooperstown. Stay on this road (Chestnut Street) through Cooperstown until it ends at Lake Street (Route 80.) Turn left onto Lake and stay on it for three short blocks, then turn left onto Westridge. Bear to the LEFT at the fork.

From Albany, it is easiest to reach us via Route 20. However, if you are going to Howe Caverns, once exiting I-90, stay on I-88 toward Oneonta and take Exit 22. Howe Caverns is clearly marked.

From the Airport, Take I-87 South to I-90 /Buffalo. From I-90, take exit 25A, to I-88.
Stay on I-88 for about five miles and take the Duanesburg exit. Turn left off the exit ramp and then turn right onto Route 20. Go west on Route 20 (51 miles; respect the speed limit in the towns along the way. It can be costly otherwise. You'll probably lose cell service on this stretch, too. Welcome to the country). 
 
At the Route 80/Route 20 intersection, turn left and head south on Route 80 for ten miles. Route 80 follows the length of Otsego Lake and is a beautiful drive, in the daylight anyway. Route 80 leads directly into Cooperstown where it is called Lake Street. Otsego Lake is on your left. Turn right onto any street off Lake and it will lead you to Main Street. Westridge Road is the first street past the green "Village of Cooperstown" sign. Turn right up Westridge and bear to the LEFT where the road forks. The left fork is our driveway.

From the West: Traveling east on I-90, take exit 30 at Herkimer and head south on Route 28. This will take you directly into Cooperstown. Turn left onto Chestnut Street and follow it through our only traffic light to where it ends at Lake Road. Turn left onto Lake and stay on it for three blocks, passing Pine and Nelson, then turn left onto Westridge Road. Look up and you will see our house immediately. Turn LEFT where the road forks, onto our drive.
 
For a more scenic drive, you can drop south from I-90 to State Route 20. It runs parallel to I-90 through some beautiful small towns. Skaneateles is especially pretty.  Route 20 intersects with Route 28 in Richfield Springs, from which you would follow the same directions to Bryn Brooke Manor.

From Binghamton, take I-88 toward Oneonta. Exit at exit 17 and take Route 28 north to Cooperstown. Stay on Route 28 for 17 miles through the village. Within Cooperstown, Route 28 is called Chestnut Street. Follow Chestnut to where it ends at Lake Street and turn left. Pass Pine Boulevard, Nelson Avenue and the third left is Westridge Road, just beyond the Otesaga Hotel on your right. Turn left onto Westridge and continue to veer left where the road forks. The left fork is our drive.
